HEART OF DEVON
CHALLENGE

WALK • RUN • CYCLE • HONOUR • FUNDRAISE

MAKE AN IMPACT.

WHERE CAN I TAKE PART?

Anywhere in the UK.

Although our routes are inspired by the amazing countryside around us in Devon, you can complete the distances wherever and however you wish. Movement is what matters.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

It’s simple to take part and you choose the pace.

1. Register (£10) at the bottom of this page and receive your downloadable Participant Pack.

2. Choose when to start You can complete the challenge anywhere in the UK or choose the original local routes in Devon if you’re nearby.

3. Log Your Miles Walk, run, cycle or mobility-adapted movement. Everything Counts. Progress can be tracked using Strava, Fitbit, screenshots or honesty checklists.

4. Fundraise as You Go Each completed section has a minimum suggested fundraising target. Try to hit it and unlock your section medal. Turn effort into impact.

5. Collect All Six Pieces Five section medals + one finisher piece interlock together to form the Heart of Devon Shield. Symbolising the community you’re helping to build.

WHY TAKE THE CHALLANGE?

The funds raised will contribute toward building OpCwtch Armed Forces Hub

A safe, warm, community-led space where veterans and their families can access:

• Social connection
• Mental & emotional support
• Food & practical help
• Employment & training pathways
• A place to belong

Every step helps create that reality.

Your Miles Matter!
